Meet Your Local Pediatric Speech Therapist: Welcome to Super Speech Therapy

Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m so glad you’re here! I’m the speech-language pathologist behind Super Speech Therapy, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, share my experience, and explain what makes my practice different.

Who I Am

I’m a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for helping children find their voice and communicate with confidence. I specialize in working with children of all ages and their families, supporting a wide range of speech and language needs in a way that feels fun, engaging, and effective.

My goal has always been simple: to help kids communicate more clearly while empowering parents with the tools and confidence they need to support their child’s growth at home.

About Super Speech Therapy

Super Speech Therapy was created to provide personalized, high-quality speech therapy for children in the Kansas City and Johnson County areas. I saw a need for more individualized care where families don’t feel rushed, overlooked, or lost in the system. I wanted every child and family to feel welcomed where speech therapy is accessible, affordable and inclusive.

At Super Speech Therapy, everything is tailored to your child and family:

  • A warm, supportive environment where kids feel comfortable

  • Individualized treatment plans

  • One-on-one sessions

  • A strong focus on parent collaboration

I work closely with families to ensure that progress continues beyond our sessions. Therapy doesn’t stop when the session ends! I provide you with strategies that you can use across all of your child’s environments and routines.

My Experience as an SLP

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with children across a variety of settings and needs. I have experience supporting:

  • Speech sound disorders (articulation)

  • Language delays

  • Expressive/receptive language disorders

  • Childhood apraxia of speech

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

  • Fluency (stuttering)

  • Social skills

I take an individualized approach to every session. What works for one child may not work for another. My job is to find what interests and motivates your child to gain skills and progress with their therapy goals as fast as possibly while also at the child’s speech.

My Approach to Therapy

Therapy should never feel like the child’s job. Children learn best when they are engaged, motivated, and having fun!

That’s why I focus on:

  • Play-based/interest-driven therapy

  • Building strong relationships with each child

  • Creating a positive and encouraging environment

  • Using evidence-based techniques

Just as importantly, I prioritize communication with parents. I make sure you understand what we’re working on, why it matters, and how you can support your child at home.

Why Families Choose Super Speech Therapy

Families often come to me because they want:

  • More personalized therapy

  • Clear communication and guidance

  • A therapist who truly listens

  • Flexible, family-centered care

I’m committed to making the process as smooth and supportive as possible—from your first question to your child’s progress over time.

Let’s Connect

If you’re wondering whether your child might benefit from speech therapy, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out on your own! I’m here to help guide you, answer your questions, and support your child every step of the way.
